Email Addresses

All proofs are sent via email to the addresses you submit. Some email providers, or businesses, automatically direct emails that contain image attachments to your spam folder. The easiest way to prevent this is to add terri@documentsanddesigns.com to your address book. We will never sell, give away, or otherwise use your email address once your order is completed.

Monogram Selection

Many of monograms on our calligraphy styles page have a certain number associated with them. If you're interested in one of those styles, please enter it in this field.

Celebration Date

Please input the correct date of the celebration. Occasionally, we will need it for a certain design and it also assists us on choosing a shipping method.

Need By Date

This date is approximate unless otherwise specified. This is the date that we will attempt to ship your products to you by. The date you will actually receive your order depends on a number of factors, mainly on how quickly proofs are finalized.

Miscellaneous/Custom Products

If you are interested in our designs but have a different type of product in mind, we can probably still assist you. Please let us know your ideas and we will send an estimate and/or proof to you for your review.

General Design Ideas

Please input a broad set of thoughts and design selections that you may have here. Later, you will be asked for product specific ideas. Some examples may include:

Quantity

You can order as few, or as many table numbers as you would like. You do not need to order in multiples of 5 or 10. If you do not know exactly how many you will need, you will have an opportunity during the proofing process to let us know the correct number.

Style

Card style table numbers are generally placed into specialized holders or standard picture frames. If you are planning on placing them in frames, please be sure to let us know the proper size of the card. They are generally only printed on one side, unless you select the double sided variety.

Tent style table numbers are printed on both sides and will stand on the table on their own, without the need for frames, clips, or holders.

Size

Table numbers seem to work best when they are 4.25" wide by 5.50" inches tall. You generally do not need a very large number on a table that will inevitably already have a variety of items on it. Other common sizes are 4.0" x 6.0" and 5.0" x 7.0".

We can, and are willing to create table numbers at any size though (within reason) at no additional cost.

Assortment

You should only check this box if you are planning on using different designs for each of the table numbers. Some examples include:

Photography

If you're planning on using photos on your table numbers, then please check this box. If you have your photos ready, please attach them to an email and send to terri@documentsanddesigns.com.

Table Names vs. Memorabilia Cards

Table Names are a replacement for table numbers and are generally 1-2 words in length.

Memorabilia Cards on the other hand, are a table name and a short paragraph of text underneath about the couple, or experiences the couple may have had together. Some examples include:

Size

Table names and memorabilia cards seem to work best when they are 5.00" tall and 7.00" wide. Memorabilia cards, moreso than table names should be this size as they can generally get a bit lengthy.

We can, and are willing to create the cards at any size though (within reason) at no additional cost.

Style

The majority of people order place cards Tent Style, which sit up on the table like a miniature table tent. Card Style place cards are used by people that have little frames, clips, or another method of displaying the cards to their guests.

Calligraphy

You can order place cards with or without the guest names on them. Place cards without calligraphy will be sent pre-cut to the proper size and scored if needed. Place cards with the guest names will be cut, scored, and folded for you. We expect to receive the guest list 7-10 days prior to your celebration, or whenever it is final.

Size

We have found that place cards work best when sized to 4.5" x 2.0". If there's another size you would like, please let us know and it is generally not a problem.

Program Style

Program Covers are generally ordered by people who wish the complete the interior of the program themselves. You generally fold a thinner sheet with the wedding party and order of service into the cover.

Card Style Programs are a flat sheet with a front and a back. One side usually has the wedding party, and the other side has the order of service. The program information cannot be too in depth due to space restraints.

Programs with Interior are folded with a cover, and up to three service pages. Those three pages generally have the wedding party, the order of service, and a thank you note.

Programs with Interior and Insert are folded with a cover, a lighter interior page, and hold up to seven service pages.

Program Size

The most space is available on a 5.50" x 8.50" program. If you prefer a narrower program, then 4.25" x 11.00" also works well. If you do not have that much information, a square program may work.

Quantity

You generally will place the seating chart in a frame and display it on an easel at the entrance of the reception hall. If you have multiple entrances, a large number of guests, or would like a copy as a keepsake, you may want to order an additional chart.

Guests

Please enter approximately how many guest lines will be on the chart. The guest names are generally listed as Mr. & Mrs. William Rogers & Family or similar.

Format of Listing Guests

It works much better when you list the guest names alphabetically on the chart. For charts with over 100 names, it can be very difficult for your guests to find their name if the chart simply has the table name, and then the guests sitting at that table underneath. On smaller charts this usually isn't much of a problem.

Wedding Party

The wedding party can optionally be added to the top corners of the chart. The bride's side will be on the top left and the groom's side on the top right.

Menu

You can optionally place your dining menu on the center of the seating chart.

Signature Lines

You generally want to include signature lines for approximately 75% of your total number of guests, as couples will generally sign together. The signature lines are pencilled in lightly and should be erased after your guests have signed.

Your guests should sign left to right to avoid having a half-empty column at the end of the celebration.
